Irfan Khan is the CEO and Founder of Supernova Academy Inc. Mr. Khan has over 25 years of experience in business, with an extensive background and expertise in a multitude of industries, ranging from Defense and Commercial Aerospace, to Manufacturing, Healthcare and Education. His passion for teaching brings real life education into the classroom and provides mentorship to students. He has been teaching project management and lean six sigma for more than 20 years at major universities including University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) and University of California Santa Barbara (UCSB).
During his journey as a program/project leader and an educator, he had a vision to build an education platform based on immersive and interactive content to maximize learning experience. His vision evolved into the formation of Supernova Academy Incorporated, which offers a unique blend of courses in Aerospace, Manufacturing, Construction and Healthcare.
Under Mr. Khan’s direction and guidance, Supernova has positioned itself as a market leader in augmented reality (AR) technology, delivering new AR-based platforms for both educational/learning and business applications. The platforms are built on hands-on and real-life case studies to maximize the learning experience. He has established key partnerships with major domestic and international educational institutions and organizations in providing curriculum-based content for students and professionals.
Mr. Khan earned his Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from California State University Fullerton, and is also accredited with both Project Management Professional certification (PMP) and a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (LSSBB).
